Our Team

Keith Foster, RPh., Pharmacist In Charge.

As the pharmacist in Charge for Colony Drug, I work everyday to make sure you and your family get the best medical care possible. I am very proud of the job our team does in making sure that your experience at Colony Drug is a pleasant one. I want to see that we offer the best care, and hope that you will always choose us to care for your family.

I am a 1984 graduate of West Virginia School of Pharmacy and have been practicing in Beckley since 1985 and at Colony since 1997.

Please come in and meet our staff and let us know what we can do for you. We are known for solving problems that others don’t want to deal with.

Gabrielle Debold., Pharmacist

I am happy to be the newest member of the Colony Drug family, having joined the staff in October 2014.

In addition to day to day pharmacist activities, I am a preceptor for WVU School of Pharmacy, a PEIA Face-to Face provider, supervise the Medication Management Therapy services, and am certified to perform immunizations.

Your questions about prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, herbs and supplements are always welcomed. I look forward to assisting you with all your pharmacy needs.

Betty Elkins, Chief Technician.

As the Chief Technician for Colony Drug, I work closely with Keith to provide excellent customer service and health care for our patients.

I started working at Colony Drug in October 1993 as a Technician and Office Manager/Billing Clerk . Over time, I have had many roles, including Customer Service, Pharmacy Technician, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Training new employees, Insurance specialist, to name a few. I have been involved in many projects at the pharmacy over the years, including expansion of the pharmacy, community relations for the pharmacy and taking care of our patients as if they are my own family.

What I like most about Colony Drug are the people, many of whom we have been serving for decades, including their parents, children and grandchildren. Many of these patients are more like family than a customer.

I look forward to continuing to take care of you and your family’s prescription needs.

Jane Showalter, Registered Nurse.

As the Registered Nurse at Colony Drug, I bring over 35 years of diverse professional nursing experience. I manage the vaccination program for the pharmacy, provide patient education and training to several populations of patients including those with hypertension, diabetes, kidney disease, and other chronic conditions.

I enjoy being part of the Colony Drug team and working with WVU Pharmacy students. I am particularly excited about expanding our vaccination program into businesses, churches, residence homes and other venues. I have been involved in providing quality care at Colony Drug at least part time since my family purchased it in 1986. A lifelong Beckley resident, I look forward to serving my friends and patients at Colony Drug, and continuing to provide new and innovative services to our patients.
